Alamkuh and Alamchal

Alamkuh and Alamchal

$1 per person

Overview

In this program, we ascend Alamkuh that is 4848 meters and Damavand that is 5610 meters. Naturally, the ascend will happen in the mentioned order beginning with the lower mountain. First, we have Alamkuh as the second highest mountain. Next, there is Damavand that is the highest mountain of Iran. While Alamkuh is famous for the difficulty of its routes, Damavand is notable for its heights. In fact, Alamkuh is one of the most technical mountains of Iran. It has two usual passages of Hesarchal and Alamchal. Here, we have the route through Alamchal (4050m).

Alamchal Route

Alamchal is an area in Alamkuh. It has one of the most difficult big walls of Iran very popular among climbers. Clearly, the passage through Alamchal is the more difficult of the two passages. Naturally, the mountaineers that choose this route should be experienced. Usually, the travelers of this route camp in the Alamchal area. As mentioned, the camping section is right under the big wall and one of the ways to summit the mountain. there is also a shelter with no facilities in Sarchal area. At the end of the program, there is a one-day city tour of Tehran.
