AlamKuh to Hesarchal
Overview
The program includes ascending Alam-Kuh (4848) that is the second highest mountain of Iran after Damavand. Alamkuh is famous for the difficulty of its routes. It is one of the most technical mountains of Iran with two usual passage of Hesarchal and Alamchal. Here, we have the route through Hesarchal. Hesarchal is in the altitude of 3750 meter. It is the most common and the easiest path of ascending Alamkuh. The place has good access to water. Therefore, mountaineers usually use it for camping. In summer, Atour sets up its eco-camp here with Kailas polar and alpine tents providing food, beverages and snacks. At the end of the program, to get a taste of Iran’s culture, there is a one-day city tour of Tehran.
