Dizin Off-Piste and Damavand Ski Touring

Dizin Off-Piste and Damavand Ski Touring

$1 per person

Here we have Dizin off-piste and Damvand ski touring program. Dizin is one of the most popular ski resorts of Iran and the destination of this travel. With a 2-3 hour drive from Tehran, one can reach Dizin ski resort. Of course, the road condition and traffic level can affect the driving time. At the lowest section, it is 2650m and at the highest, it is 3600m. The resort is famous for hosting ski events of the country and it has 23 Ski slopes, 4 gondola lifts and 2 chair lifts.

The resort is also a popular destination of off-piste skiing with different peaks. The most common of these peaks are Siah Gholeh, Sandoq Chal, Gavazni, Siah Chal and the path of Qajereh. For ski touring in this area, the guide will consider the snow level and weather condition, and then choose one of the mentioned peaks for skiing.

Then we will head to Damavand (5610m). We have a drive with 4×4 cars to the trailhead. The passage is the same we take in the summer to Gosfandsara, but because of the snow, we cannot reach it. The cars will go as much as they can and then the ski touring begins. At the end of the program, there is a city tour of Tehran. Below you can read more about Dizin off-piste and Damavand ski touring.
