Here we have Dizin off-piste and Doberar ski touring program. Dizin is one of the most popular resorts of Iran with the possibility of Off-Piste skiing. On the other hand, Doberar is part of Alborz mountain ridge and among the longest mountain ridges of the country. Dizin is also a popular destination of off-piste skiing with different peaks. The most common of these peaks are Siah Gholeh, Sandoq Chal, Gavazni, Siah Chal and the path of Qajereh. For ski touring in this area, the guide will consider the snow level and weather condition, and then choose one of the mentioned peaks for skiing.
With three days of skiing in Dizin, the participants will head to Polour and ski there for four days. At the end, we will have a one-day city tour of Tehran to get familiar with the culture of the country as well. The meals in Dizin part are in restaurant, and in Doberar part, guide will prepare them. The overnights in Dizin part are in hotel, in Doberar part in lodge or local house. Day 1: Arrival to Tehran (1189m) and transfer to Dizin (~3800m)
Now, the Dizin off-piste and Doberar ski touring program officially begins. After arrival to IKA airport and meeting the Atour Adventure agent, you will head to Dizin. It will take around 3 hours to get there and then you will check-in to hotel Dizin. Naturally, the arrangement of this day highly depends on your arrival flight.Day 2: Ski touring in Dizin (~3800m)
Based on the weather condition and snow level, we will choose one of the mountains mentioned in the overview and then ski in that peak. Then we will return to the hotel for the night. The meals will be in restaurant.Day 3: Ski touring in Dizin (~3800m)
On this day, we will head to another peak and ski there. For the night, we will return to hotel. Like the previous day, the meals are in restaurant.Day 4: Ski touring in Dizin (~3800m) and transfer to Polour
Today is the last day of ski touring in the Dizin area and out of the resort. Again, we choose one of the mountains and ski there. Then, we will descend and head to Polour (. The overnight will be in lodge. The meals will be in restaurant and lodge.Day 5: Gole Zard ski touring (3750m)
Early in the morning, there is a transfer to take us to the trailhead of skiing in Gole Zard (3750m) area. After summiting, we will descend back here and then transfer to Polour. The overnight will be at Polour mountaineering lodge or a local house in the area.Day 6: Changiz Chal ski touring (4020m)
After breakfast and packing lunchboxes, we will head to the beginning of the skiing route. We will be heading for Changiz Chal peak. There is a short drive to the trailhead and then the ski touring begins. Like the previous day, the beginning and end will be the same place. For the night, we will head back to the lodge or the local house.Day 7: Angemar ski touring (4035m)
On this day, we will head to another spot of Doberar ridge known as Angemar (4035m). With a short drive, we will reach the trailhead and then the ski touring begins. Once again, after the summit, we will descend by ski to the same place we began and then head to the lodge or local house. The overnight is in the lodge or local house.Day 8: Doberar ski touring (4250m)
This is the last day of skiing on Doberar mountain ridge; we will be heading for Doberar (4250m). We will have a short drive to the trailhead. After summiting Doberar, we will ski down and get back to Tehran. The overnight will be in hotel in Tehran. Here, we had four days of ski touring in Doberar ridge that we can reduce or increase them if the participant desire it.Day 9: Tehran city tour (1189m)
Now, we have a chance to get familiar with the culture, art and architecture of Iran. This is the day of Tehran city tour and we visit the highlights of Tehran. In the evening, we return to hotel, getting ready for the departure.Day 10: Time to say goodbye
Departure. Based on the departing flight, we will arrange a transfer to the airport.
